My name is Damon West. I was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire , England.
I moved to Canada in 2001.
Just a photo here and there turned into a hobby and a love for photography. I shot alot on film then decided to make the switch to digital, what with the cost of developing a whole reel all the time and now the quality of the 10 megapixel market, the swap was a must.
Most of my photo's are shot with a Canon Rebel XTI DSLR 10.1 megapixel, but i try and carry a camera with me at all times so i have a pocket Kodak CX 730 4 megapixel and a Sony DSC T100 , 8.1 megapixel.
Photography opens up a whole new aspect on seeing things, whether it's from the smallest insect or flower to the most grandest of landscapes , your eyes are always open and looking for the perfect picture.
